Heart-tastic

Our sewing teacher recently introduced me to stuffed hearts. They get easier to do with each one you make.  A great little project to use those beautiful scraps of fabric at the bottom of your fabric box.  I love added scent to them and have them on all the door handles in my home adding some lovely fragrance as you walk into a room.

To bring a little bit of inspiration from the garden, I'm drying scents from the garden like lemon verbena and lavender to add them to the stuffing to make a really natural scent.  You can also add a few drops of scented oil in the stuffing which creates a great effect.

To make this project you will need:

Paper and pencil (draw your stencil)
Assortment of pattern fabric
Ribbon
Pins and scissors
Scented oils (like the ones used in an oil burner)
or dried fragrant leaves from the garden
